We stayed in site 003 on July 9th, 2023. It is a full hook up and all facilities worked as expected. The sites are concrete paved and very level. The grounds were very nice and were kept like a golf course. Everyone was quite and we had a peaceful stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family passing through or staying a day or two.

Attended a friend's wedding. There's room for about 100 people. If you are looking for a secluded woodsy atmosphere, this is it!
Nice, small campground with electricity & water. Filled up quickly on a summer Sunday night. Great access to Raccoon River for canoeing, fishing or just playing. The Bird Blind is one of the best I have ever seen for attracting song birds.
What a beautiful campground! My camp sight was very spacious and well groomed. Plenty of shade.The restrooms were very clean. You have to love an inner city campground that feels like you left the city. It was a quiet and serene experience and I highly recommend this campground!
Very nice place to camp! Love the concrete pads! It’s pretty quiet and the DNR pretty much leave you alone. This is my first time camping here and I will definitely be back next year a few times! May start being my go to spot!
We were looking for a place to stay and this campground was a little bit of a back track but was pretty quiet except for the few planes flying over at night. Really easy to check in. They only do camping reservations online. And it was actually cheaper at only $24 then any of the nearby camping areas. The only downside was a lot of bugs, not mosquitoes just annoying gnats. Definitely would stop there again and camp if passing through Iowa again.
My daughter and her husband had their Fall wedding here. It was rustic and very beautiful
Really nice park with lots of cool trail options. We discovered a really huge sycamore tree!!!! Definately recommend bringing mosquito spray. Huge walnut trees and equestrian trails!!!! I hear it may soon get connected to raccoon River Park with an awesome bridge over the river.
